Where to find the best sunset Bellini in Italy

Here is where I had my most favorite!

Il San Pietro Di Positano, on the Amalfi Coast, has a very special place in my heart.

It’s perched upon the cliffs with stunning views over the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The picturesque setting is just exquisite and it makes me feel happy and inspired.

My Bellini journey

A few years ago I traveled to the Amalfi coast and settled in my little villa, 800 steps up from the beachfront, and soaked in the beauty of Positano below me.

How lucky was I to have this view over the mesmerizing Monti Lattari mountain range with disappearing cliffs into the blue Tyrrhenian Sea and the colorful houses dressed in bougainvillea.

I took a deep breathe and the floral scent of flowers filled my senses full of joy.

After a nice glass of wine on the patio, it was time to explore this fantastic tableau in front of me.

All dressed up, cute little black dress and heels, taking a last glance in the mirror. I felt like Diane Lane in “Under the Tuscan Sun”, as I was going out for the night.

I had heard from a good friend of mine about Hotel Il San Pietro Di Positano Bellini’s and to go there for sunset.

Ready to try out the nectar of the gods, I slowly made my way down 800 stone steps to the beach, where a local water taxi picked me up.

The boat ride had breathtaking land and seascapes. It was like a postcard that had come to life. The last rays of the sun were hugging the mountains into the sea, gentle waves and my hair blowing in the warm breeze.

I arrived at the lower level by the beach club of Il San Pietro where I carefully disembarked the boat.

Some guest were sipping their cocktails with friends, lively conversation, and lots of laughs while others were having a little nap as I passed them by to take the elevator through the rocks up to the top level.

I turned the corner and here was the most amazing backdrop over Positano and the bay and in the far distance I could see my little villa on top of the mountain :-) Picture perfect.

Walking on the path through the garden, the flowers in the elegant vases smelled heavenly, the yellow cushions on the majolica benches with the stunning Vietri Tile work on the grand terrace were so inviting.

Peach Bellini please…

I was ready for my first fresh-made Peach Bellini after taking in the magnificence of the terrace.

The bartender handed me my beautiful deliciously looking Bellini.

“Si, si, molto bene grazie mille”, and I took a sip.

Cheers to a fabulous time in Positano. The Bellini was absolutely divine and ready for one more until the sun sets.

This was one of the most spectacular places, and might I say views, for a Bellini in the world.

For all you love birds, please keep this place in mind for a proposal or a romantic Rendez-Vous.

It really is one of the most romantic places you can ever watch the sunset and take a walk with your loved one, cuddle up and let the night take you away…
